October Favourites

I can't believe that it's now November which can only mean 1 thing - less than 2 months till Christmas! I'd better get myself a Christmas wishlist readied, which I should post in here and then "accidentally" email the link to my husband. Or maybe have the wishlist page open on the computer screen, on his lap top. Yeah, that will work. Now what to put on this wishlist....

Well, today instead of the usual Top 5 Tuesday post, I'll be showing you the products I really enjoyed using last month.

Face Products

Illamasqua Blush in Ambition - this is from the Theatre of Nameless collection and is one of the first shimmer blushes from the brand. It's a neutral pink with soft shimmer through it. It's very easy to wear, and doesn't overpower a strong eye look.

Illamasqua Blush in Disobey - I've been using this as a contour pretty much every day since I bought it at IMATS. It's a matte warm bronzey colour, and tell you the truth I think it should be marketed as a bronzer rather than a blush as I just can't imagine anyone being able to wear this colour on their cheeks as a blush.

Emani mineral blush in Lime Light - I'd never tried anything from this brand before, but when I swatched it at the shop I loved the soft pigmentation so had to get it. The shop I bought it from has closed down but they do have a website that sells these blushes. I use it mainly on top of a regular blush as a shimmer powder, as this colour alone is too light to show up on my skintone.

Eye Products

L'Oreal Color Infallible eyeshadows - yep, I bought two more since I first discovered these gems (original post HERE). Forever Pink and Endless Chocolate are new additions, Hourglass Beige I've had for a while now. These three colours have been on high rotation last month, for lazy day time looks.

Maybelline Define A Lash Mascara in black - I've been using this as a "finisher" mascara. What that means is I use it after my usual mascara (CG Lash Blast), to finish the look by giving my lashes more definition. Because the wand is fairly thin, it's perfect for getting to those hard to reach corner lashes.

Lip Products
Designer Brands Lipgloss in Hint of Heaven - this is such a lovely peachy colour to wear alone or on top of lipstick. It has a really strong fruity scent which some people might hate, but I love it.

Inglot lipstick in #104 - this is one of my favourite corals. It reminds me a bit of MAC Costa Chic, maybe a bit more coral. Another easy to wear colour.

BYS Champagne Rain - this is probably my 3rd tube of this lipstick, which is a perfect pinky nude colour for me and at less than $4 AUD can't go wrong with it.

What have been your favourites for October? If you've done a post link me to it in the comments.
