Jurlique event and their new range

Last week I was lucky enough to attend an event held by Jurlique to introduce us to the Purely White Skin Brightening range of skincare.

Those of you that aren't aware Jurlique is an Australian brand that has been around since 1985, and they grow the plants used in their products right here on their own farm in South Australia! Besides being totally natural and good for your skin, their products all smell so lovely. My favourite is the Rose Hand Cream, which I reviewed in the past, but I now have a couple of other favourites too.

FACT: did you know 4 tubes of Rose Hand Creams are sold every minute worldwide - that's a little fact I learned on the night.

Before I get to my new favourites from the range, I'd like to introduce you to the stars of the night, these little beauties from the Purely White Skin Brightening range.

It consists of Cleanser, Brightening Mist, Day Cream, Essence and Night Treatment. With key ingredients such as Kakadu Plum Extract (native to Australia) and Citrus Unshiu Peel Extract, the range is designed to fade discolouration, even the skintone and reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

My hand, waiting to get pampered.

At the event there were lovely Jurlique ladies that tried out the products on our hands allowing us to get a feel for them. I tried the Essence (serum), Day Cream and Night Treatment and obviously having only tried it once, I can't comment about their brightening capabilities, however all felt light and non-greasy. There was no clammy feeling, and all soaked into my skin almost instantly.

At the event I also had the chance  to catch up with some lovely bloggers.

Me, Angie from An Obsession With The Fabulous and Lara from The Swatchgirl

Jurlique were so kind to us, they saw us off with a lovely goody bag containing the following.

Clockwise from left: Purely Age Defying Night Lotion, Rosewater Balancing Mist, Fruit Enzyme Exfoliant, Rose Love Balm.

I will do a proper review of these as I use them, but my favourites so far? The Love Balm and the Rose Mist. Funnily both are rose fragranced, so maybe I am addicted to the smell!

For more information about Jurlique go to their website.

Have you tried anything from the Jurlique range? What are your favourites?

  8. Ooh I was there too. It was my first blogger event so I didn't know what to expect and so didn't introduce myself to anyone. I wish I had met some fellow bloggers. But I had a great night getting my hand pampered and chatting with the jurlique staff!! Plus the goodie bag was unreal!! I also adore rose so the rose mist is probably my all time favourite beauty product.
