The Victoria Room is one of my favourite places to go. The decor is absolutely stunning, which their website describes as "British Raj". The photo below is from their website... I was having so much fun chatting with the girls that I forgot to take pics of the place!
When planning my outfit for the day, I knew I wanted some splashes of red to suit the surroundings, so I settled on red shoes (not shown), lipstick, nails and ring.
Lipstick: Rimmel "Kiss Me" Nails: Orly "Lola" Ring: by Aqua; Earrings: gift from mother-in-law Striped top: FCUK White blazer: Paper Scissors |
High Tea at The Victoria Room starts from $45. A bit pricey, but you're also paying for the atmosphere. You get lovely sandwiches, scones, mini-cakes and sweets, and of course tea. There was so much food that some of us took cakes home in doggie bags.
Red Velvet Cupcakes, Scones, and my Earl Grey. |
And when you get a bunch of beauty bloggers in a room together what happens? We do a beauty swap of course, just like at the last beauty blogger meet. Basically we all dumped our unwanted beauty products on the table and then helped ourselves to the loot. I picked up a couple of things which I'm yet to play with.
Beauty products, ready to be grabbed. |
If you want to see a pic of me going in for the kill, i.e. getting grabby with some goodies, head on over to Aryanny's blog.
What have you been up to lately? If you're a blogger, do you socialise with other bloggers?
