May favourites

I haven't done a monthly favourites post in quite a while, but this last month there were quite a few products that were on high rotation for me and definitely warranted a favourites post.

Benefit Hoola
I use this to contour my face pretty much every single day. Especially with all the pregnancy weight gain at the moment I feel like I'm developing chipmunk cheeks so this has been great at slimming down my face and helping me fake cheekbones. Full review HERE.

Benefit Coralista
This has really grown on me. It's one of those easy to wear colours that's a blush and shimmer powder in one. I'm wearing this as much as I can now, as come summer if I develop a tan this won't show on me at all. Full review HERE.

Illamasqua Tremble
Love love love this blush. Illamasqua blushes are my absolute favourite blushes, I have quite a few of them and this colour has in a very short time gained best of the best status for me. It's the perfect peachy pink colour, finely milled and long lasting. Love love love it. Full review HERE.

SHE Gel Eyeliner*
This is very easy to apply with the included brush, dries quickly and stays put for hours without smudging. Full review HERE.

Too Faced Naked Palette
I'm a huge fan of the Too Faced eyeshadow palettes, and this one with cool neutral shades has been on high rotation as I've been favouring a more natural eye look lately. Full review HERE.

Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Ebloui
If not using the TF Naked Palette I've been appying a wash of Ebloui all over my lids topped with mascara and voila, my eye makeup is done. Full review HERE.

Australis Voluptulash Mascara in Blackest Black
I originally received this as a PR sample but it was so good that when it ran out I had no second thoughts about repurchasing it. The comb-like wand is perfect for separating lashes and making them look massive, and the colour is actually a very dark black, just the way I like it.

MAC Viva Glam Nicki
I actually haven't been very adventurous with my lipstick this month and besides Viva Glam Nicki nothing else has made much of an impression.  Full review and swatches HERE.

Schwarzkopf Taft Full On Styling Powder
I've absolutely loved this powder for giving my hair volume at the roots and texture where I need it. It's cheap, instantly volumizes the hair, and can also double as a dry shampoo. Full review HERE.

Organix Macadamia Dry Hair Oil
After my beloved Moroccan Oil passed its use by date I decided to switch to this oil which is half the price of the Moroccan Oil, and I haven't regretted my decision. It's lightweight, doesn't weigh down my hair and instantly smooths my hair while leaving it with a sweet nutty smell.  Full review HERE.

  4. I've been wanting to get an Illamasqua blush for agessss and you make me want one even more lol. When I finally decided to buy one, I went to Myer Melbourne and for some reason they have barely any of the colours at all! Not sure what's going on there... Will have to ask them about it next time.

    1. Hmmm... strange that they've ran out of stock. You can also get them from the Illamasqua's website, they actually deliver to Australia and it takes no more than 2 weeks so it's not too bad.

  5. Looooove Coralista, Hoola and VG Nicki. I may have to give the Australis mascara a try; my favourite mascara is DC'ed and I'm running out of my back up, and I'm a bit out of the mascara loop :P

    1. I definitely need a new HG mascara too... I love the Australis one, but it's mainly great at lengthening and I really want a volumizing one. Will have to stalk your blog in case you find a good mascara :-)

  7. I'd love to try the Chanel Illusion D'Ombre in Ebloui. If I didn't already have the UD NP, I'd probably would have gone for the TF NP. :) How are the preparations for the baby coming along? Excited?

  9. I have the Voluptus Lash mascara as well and I love it! The formula is so rich, it coats every one of my lashes. It's definitely a mascara I will purchase again. Works even better than Maybelline Falsies
