French Affair by Essie

Despite the cold weather in Australia (yes my dear readers, Australia is now well and truly in the middle of winter), I'm dreaming of springtime. Springtime in Paris to be exact. But since Paris is more than 10,000 miles from Sydney I can get my French cravings with French Affair by Essie.

French Affair is a cool toned baby pink that's neutral enough to be worn with most outfits without clashing. I found the formula of this colour much runnier than all my other Essies, and 3 coats was required to get opaque coverage. On the plus side I've got them on 4th day in a row, without any top coat, and there's no chip in sight.

And if you're thinking I'm obsessed with Essie at the moment, you'd be right, since all my recent nail posts have featured Essie. That's because not only do I love the colours and formula, the fact that Essie is free from Formaldehyde, Toluene and DBP means I can put my pregnant mind at ease that I'm not doing harm with any nasty chemicals.

    Such a pretty colour! I currently have pink on my nails but more like bubblegum pink. Can't remember the brand. Been feeling pinks lately! Pinks and golds.

    I'm obsessed by nail polishes, I bought about 10 in the last few weeks. Yesterday I bought Essie's Buy Me a Cameo. They were 2$ in Wal-Mart! Yay for discount!

      That sounds like such a bargain! Essies are $18.95 here in Australia, or around $10 on sale. Booo :(

    Essie is my fave polish brand at the moment, I just bought myself a new shade on sale at Myer today! I too was dreaming of France, but it is a much darker shade than this. France with this weather would be lovely...:D
