MAC Viva Glam Nicki
This is a vibrant yellow toned pink that leans slightly towards coral. If you're not normally a bright lippy wearer this can be a bit scary as it's very opaque and vibrant, but if you just pat it on with your finger then it can be wearable. It's actually unlike any colour I own, as I raided my lippy collection to see if anything could match it and nada, nothing at all. Most warm toned pinks are leaning towards coral, but this one has a definite yellow tint which really brightens the face. It's a satin formula so it can be somewhat drying, but a bit of lip balm underneath fixes all problems.
MAC Watch Me Simmer
MAC has been releasing so many new collections lately that I gave up trying to keep up. And lets face it, some of the collections were a bit, blah. But the MAC Shop, MAC Cook collection is something that caught my eye and mainly for the bright lippies. I restrained myself and only got this lipstick as I love corals, especially ones with a tinge of pink. This is an Amplified formula, my favourite kind, as not only is it opaque but it's also creamier than the Satin so won't dry out your lips.

DeleteI picked up the new Nicki Minage lipstick yesterday, they were out of stock of the lipliner I was after so have to wait a little longer to wear it...sigh! I picked up Quick Sizzle from the Cook/Shop collection, though I was tempted to get Watch me shimmer! Both look fab

DeleteI think MAC prices in australia are ridonkulous so i was able to get watch me simmer from america and it is beautiful! Im regretting not getting quick sizzle now though!

Hi Isabel, thanks for the follow! If you already own Costa Chic I don't think you need Watch Me Simmer. Don't get me wrong, Watch Me Simmer is gorgeous, but swatched on lips it's too similar to Costa Chic. It just doesn't have the frost that Costa Chic has. Hope that helps! xo
