All the bloggers received a goody bag of items from the collection. Christabel from The Makeup Mole had organised the event, and she'd also gone through all the trouble to ensure the contents of the goody bag were customised to the attendee.
In my goody bag I received a cream pigment in Hollow, and Sheer lipgloss in Divine. You'd have to agree these colours are perfect for me.
Cream pigment in Hollow |
The cream pigments go on creamy but dry matte, and can be used anywhere on your face - lips, eyes, cheeks, etc. I use Hollow to contour my face as it's a few shades darker than my natural skin tone so it looks perfect for natural contouring.

When I first opened the lipgloss I thought I already owned something similar from the Illamasqua range - their intense lipgloss in Indulge.

But compared side by side you can tell the difference. Not only is one sheer and one more opaque, but colourwise Divine is more cool toned whereas Indulge is a warmer pink.

My love affair with Illamasqua is continuing, and I'm desperately waiting for Toxic Nature to be released in the counters so I can pick up a few things I have my eye on.
Will you be buying anything from this range?
Divine and Hollow are such gorgeous colours!!!
ReplyDeleteI can't wait for your FOTDs using Hollow as contouring colour :P
Wow, I am really liking the looks of both lipglosses. I'm glad they gave you wearable products in your goody bag. The cream pigment seems quite pigmented which might also be good as a lip concealer?
ReplyDeleteWhen this collection comes out, I want to get the cream pigment in 'Emerge' for my cheeks! I'm loving pale corals for cheeks at the moment :D
Thanks for sharing Lilit!
Ooh, fab lip colours!!

@Adeline - I hadn't actually planned on fotd with hollow but looks like I'll have to.
ReplyDelete@Popblush - I tried hollow on my lips, it definitely conceals things but on my lips it gave a grey-ish tinge. And Emerge was absolutely stunning, I'd even use it as a lipcolour.
@Linsay - yeah i'm really happy with the colours I got.
