Side by side the colours look identical.
Swatched on my hand they also look pretty close.
However worn on my lips I can actually tell the difference.
While they're almost identical, Snob (left) is definitely more pigmented, and a cooler pink. I feel that I can't wear Snob when I have a bit of a tan as it makes my lips look too blue. For me Pink Pout is the summer version of Snob.
Have you got either of these colours? Do you think they're good dupes?
I like Pink Pout just because warmer tones are more suited to my skin tone. I wonder how Snob will look with a warmer gloss over it?
ReplyDeleteI agree that the Revlon seems more suited to your colouring. It also seems more alive and luscious without having to put a gloss over the top.
ReplyDeletevery interesting comparison, yes mac pink snob is more pigmented but pink pout is looking more attractive than snob!! Thanks for sharing:)
ReplyDeleteI was thinking the same thing at PopBlush. Maybe a warmer gloss over would make it summer-ish :)
ReplyDeleteI love pink lips<3
I'm going to have to pic up Pink Pout.
@Hannah & Pop - I sometimes wear it with NYX Chrystal Soda lipgloss which tones down the blue-ness of Snob.
ReplyDelete@Kathbear - yep, as you can see from the picture of the tubes of lipsticks I wear the revlon one the most!
@Rakhshanda - thanks darl, although I do love the feel of mac on my lips better, but colour wise the revlon is more wearable for me.

Wow! They really do make a big difference on your lips!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE MAC lipsticks and Snob looks lovely! However, I would be interested in trying Pink Pout now.

Great comparison, I think I like the Revlon better :)
ReplyDeleteWOW! I think Pink Pout is much better than snob...must pick it up! Thanks for the post :) xxxxxx
ReplyDeleteThanks girls, and yes Pink Pout is gorgeous and only half the price of Snob, bargain!
ReplyDeleteI'm planning to buy revlon matte lipstick in pink pout but I still looking for some reviews of the lipstick and you really help me a lot.hehe
ReplyDeletethe color is so pretty. is that make our lips dry?
anyway. have u ever tries NYX round lipstick in narccissus? ( I don't know how to spell that, hehe )
ReplyDelete@inge luciana - I'm glad the post heled you. The revlon lipstick is matte but it's not horribly drying. If you ut some lip balm on underneath you'll be fine! The good thing is it lasts all day. As for NYX narcissus no I haven't tried, I think it's a lighter barbie pink than my two pinks here.
ReplyDeleteI prefer the finish of pink pout, its a brown/muted pink which works well on your skin tone x
ReplyDeleteHi Lilit,
ReplyDeletethe Pink Pout looks great on you. Sometimes a little detail in color makes a huge difference.
Sandra
I think you suit both :) Ive been looking at snob for a long while and cant decide if i need it haha! x
ReplyDelete@Imo - thanks, it's definitely one of my fave pinks to wear.
ReplyDelete@Sandra - yep, agree, a tiny bit of colour difference is all that matters to make something suit you.
@Adrienne - well if it helps it's not a bad lipstick at all, I wear it all the time in cooler weather when I've got less colour on my face.

Wow, I never realised how similar these lipsticks were! Thanks for the review :)
ReplyDeleteThere so similar, i was wearing snob the other day and my friend really liked the colour so we browsed through superdrug to find a dupe and we picked the revlon pink pout! nice post! xx
ReplyDeletewow, they are soooo similar! i have pink pout and absolutely adore it however, being that i am extremely fair, i do require a darker gloss on top.
