Inside my holiday makeup bag

Here's a look inside my holiday makeup bag. Gone are the days when I used to take 3 eyeshadow palettes and 16 lipsticks for a weekend away! Now I pack light. Over time I've become quite good at packing for a trip away and now only take items I know I will use. Here's what made the cut for our trip to Vanuatu.

- Maybelline Better Skin foundation
- Maybelline 24hr Superstay Powder
- NARS blush/bronzer in Orgasm/Laguna
- theBalm blusher in Frat Boy

- Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Palette
- Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown
- Benefit They're Real Push-up Liner
- Models Prefer Shadow Liner
- Maybelline theColossal Volum' Express Mascara

- Classics lipstick in #227
- Maybelline lipstick in Pink Quartz
- BYS lipstick in Damsel in Distress

Other bits & bobs
- Manicare Nail Polish Remover pads
- Rimmel nail polish in Breakfast in Bed
- L'Oreal Age Perfect cleansing wipes
- Nivea Q10 moisturiser
- Macadamia Oil leave in hair treatment

There you have it, the rather smallish makeup kit that went on holidays with me (yes, I know for some people this is still probably too much, but hey I am a beauty blogger after all!).

What are some of your holiday essentials?

  1. The nars blush and bronzer looks amazing! In love with both the shades!

    1. It's a great colour combo, very handy for travel!

  2. The frat boy blush looks like it would be really great for pale skin!

    1. Oh Frat Boy is actually a bit darker than it looks in that pic - that outdoor pic kind of washed out the colour a bit, but it should still work for pale skin.

  3. You are much better than I am at packing light. I love to overpack when we drive to a destination but once a plane is involved a lot more thinking goes into it for've made me want to start packing for my honeymoon already!

    1. Haha, I'm sure you have a lot more wedding related things on your mind at the moment, you can worry about honeymoon packing in a few weeks time! :)
