It is of course the Rimmel Kate lasting finish lipstick in #14. It's by all means not a new release, has been around for quite a while and I'm sure I even wrote about it a while back. But this was one of those hidden gems I had neglected for a while and only re-discovered it lately when I decided my usual bright shades just look a bit garish in the cold Sydney weather.
If I'm being honest I don't LOVE this lippy. Actually what I mean is I don't love the colour, I do prefer brighter shades, but the texture and creaminess screams of good quality. What else can I say about this lipstick?
- It's creamy
- Highly pigmented
- Gives good colour pay off - what you see in the tube is what you see on your lips
- Lasts 2-4 hours
- Very affordable. They're generally around $11 but I noticed Priceline had them 1/2 price.
PS: Anyone else loving the fact that colder weather means hats and scarves? So easy to hide bad hair days, and dress up a boring outfit with a scarf.
Have you tried any of the Rimmel Kate lipsticks? Any favourite colours?
I love Rimmel lipsticks but haven't tried any of the Kate line. I think it's a nice browny nude for you but I agree I like you better in colour :-)
ReplyDeleteThis colour reminds me of one of my very first lipsticks that I bought when I was 14, when brown and taupe was the IT colour in the 90's.
ReplyDeleteI Have this colour too and beautiful formula but looks so much nicer on you than me
ReplyDeleteI can't wear that kind of colour but love the rimmel kate formula. You look so cute with the hat and scarf!
ReplyDeleteI think the better nude shade by kate moss is #03 http://katiemanson.blogspot.com/
