Nail Polishes
- Essie Mint Candy Apple - this very popular mint polish is one of my all time favourites. It's opaque in 2 coats, long lasting, and reminds you of spring. What more could you ask for?
- China Glaze Re-fresh Mint - this is meant to be a dupe for Mint Candy Apple but it's lighter and more yellow toned than the Essie one. This was my first ever mint polish actually, you could say this is what started my obsession with mint coloured polishes.
- OPI Mermaids Tears - this is from the Pirates of the Caribbean Collection. It's a murky seawater green that looks nice in autumn.
Eyeshadows
- MAC Humid - this is a beautiful deep green with a frost finish, but the frost is subtle enough to make this a perfect lid and a crease colour.
- MAC Sumptuous Olive - this gorgeous olive colour has veluxe pearl finish, making it incredibly soft to apply. It's a perfect all over lid colour.
- MAC Newly Minted - This is a matte formula so it's a bit chalky to apply, but the colour itself looks beautiful worn all over the lid with a matte brown eyeshadow in the crease.
Do you wear green coloured makeup?
Will you be wearing green for St Patrick's Day?
Such a cute post! I love it! Green is my favourite colour at the moment! xxx
ReplyDeleteThanks Stephanie! xo
DeleteI've never been that into green but I recently branched out and tried MAC humid eyeshadow. It's totally changed my opinion on the colour and now from your post I want to try OPI Mermaid Tears.

Green surprisingly suits a lot of people, especially brunettes! And mermaids tears is just gorgeous.
DeleteI love green and luckily it really suits my colouring. I tried to buy Humid the other day but they were sold out. Your swatch has definitely confirmed I need to try and track it down though!!
ReplyDeleteIt's a popular colour, Humid, and looks great on so many people. Hope you manage to track it down!
DeleteI've really been enjoying greens too this month! I don't have a good green eyeshadow yet, but MAC Humid looks right up my alley :)
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely green, and not too scarily bright either!
DeleteI love this post for how artistic and beautifully it was presented!
ReplyDeleteThank you :-)
DeleteOh I like that necklace I would have never guessed it was DIVA!
ReplyDeleteI don't really wear green makeup (well, I wear MAC Club, but that's arguably green), but I definitely wear green on St. Patrick's Day. I live in Boston, one of the most Irish cities in America, and it also happens to be my birthday! I love the day, as you might expect :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post! I have been loving green eyeshadows at the moment! xx
ReplyDeleteI quite like that MAC olive shadow. I think that is going on the "need' list!
ReplyDeleteThe jewellery is pretty too Lilit xx
Haha! Lilit! I'm not a fan of green, I don't really know how to wear it, but I love your minty take on it.
