Shopping my stash FOTD #1 - Featuring Sleek and MakeupGeek

Every once in a while I like to dig into my makeup stash and dig up something I haven't used in a while. Last weekend I re-discovered some old favourite Makeupgeek eyeshadows that were gathering dust, and a bright matte Sleek lipstick I used to wear a lot but then neglected for a while.

Full Makeup Breakdown
  • Maybelline Dream Matte Mousse foundation in Nude
  • MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural in Medium
  • Illamasqua blush in Lover
  • Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown
  • Makeup Geek eyeshadows in Unexpected (lid), Fairytale (crease), Sensuous (outer V and lower lash line), and Inglot eyeshadow in 63 (black on lash line)
  • Essence Lash Princess Mascara
  • Chi Chi lipliner in Bimbo
  • Sleek lipstick in Amped

In the photo above the lipliner and lippy don't really match, but in real life you can't tell the difference as much. It ended up being a good lip combo, as I wore it 3 more times last week and that's saying something considering I like to change up my lippy every day.

Do you like digging into your makeup stash? It was definitely a nice "pastime" I used to have back in the days when I didn't have a toddler who demanded my attention 100% of the time, but even now whenever I get the chance I like to see what hidden gems I've been neglecting lately.

  1. Beautiful make-up look! I really want the Anastasia Beverly Hills dipbrow pomade because it always makes eyebrows look on point. Great job at rocking that bold lipstick. Holly :) x

  2. You look beautiful Lilith! I love looking at my stash, sounds sad but I like it. I'm neglecting quie a lot of it at the moment because I am always rushing and going for the same look x

  3. I purchased so many new things in Feb/March so I have been doing this a lot lately! I recently found some Sleek blushes and Korres lip products I hadn't used in a while. I am really enjoying them again. Just like going shopping.

  4. In today's busy world many women are finding it hard, to have the time to look their best, but they must still look professional and good makeup brands does make a big difference. So always prefer the one which suits your skin type.
