Shanghai Suzy is an Australian brand created by a Melbourne girl who was tired of paying $30+ for good quality lippies. I hear ya sista! So she created her own, and the lipstick loving community said hallelujah!
The colours I have are Miss Simone (baby coral) and Miss Melissa (hot pink). Both are beautifully matte yet feel really lightweight on my lips. They also last about 6+ hours including a coffee and lunch break. Miss Simone is described as a baby coral, however it's quite a muted shade and on my lips it pulls slightly brown. Miss Melissa is described as hot pink and I'd have to agree with that, it's also my favourite of the two but I'm sure you could already guess :-)
You can buy these lipsticks on their website, which also has a list of stockists if you're lucky enough to have one close by.
Hehe I do own the whole collection ;) thanks for the mention! So glad you love them as well. Miss Melissa is stunning on you xxx
ReplyDeleteHehe, I knew it! I don't blame you! I've got the website bookmarked and no doubt I'll be getting a few more of their lippies. xx
DeleteI've heard really great things about these from Sarah as well! I really like the look of Miss Simone, looks like a lovely peachy nude on you! I'd love to give these a try, they're really affordable!

I've heard quite a bit about these lipsticks but I didn't realise how cheap they retail for! Must try! x
ReplyDeleteIt is such a great price isn't it? I'm definitely buying a few. x
DeleteGorgeous colors. I'm loving the matte finish, too. Thanks for the review!

Those look lovely. If these were available here in the UK, I would buy that Miss Melissa shade just because my name is Melissa. It's also a beautiful shade though.
ReplyDeleteHaha, I totally would buy a lipstick if it was named after me too, even if I didn't like the colour.
