Soft & Natural Everyday FOTD

With the weather warming up beautifully here in Australia I've been embracing a more natural makeup look... Plus lets face it, being on maternity leave at the moment I don't really go out much so there's no need for a full face of makeup.

My hair is in DESPERATE need of a trim!

Products used
My favourite bold lipsticks have taken a backseat to sheer lippies and glosses, shimmery blushes have replaced matte ones and I've shunned eyeliners for just a wash of colour all over the lids.

This is a quick look that takes me no more than 15 minutes to do, including brushing my hair.

Here's another everyday look of mine, holding my 2 month old baby boy. That's his favourite position, held over the shoulder so he can watch the world go by... curious little bugger! {More pics of my little boy are on my Instagram }

What are some of your everyday makeup essentials?

  2. You're either a dab hand with the makeup or you have a sleeper...maybe a bit of both. Looking great!

    1. LOL he's definitely not a sleeper! He just catnaps for 10mins here and there. The rest of the time is all about wanting to either be entertained or held over the shoulder so he can watch things :)

  3. Oh snap, great minds! I have a similar 'minimalist' post drafted for the coming days :) You look so lovely, and every time you wear Ebloui I wish I bought that colour instead of the ones I did! Xx

    1. Hehe, yep, great minds! Check out strawberrynet, they usually have Ebloui on sale for around $35, still pricey but better than the $55 at Myer! xx

    2. It's definitely going on my wish list -- for after IMATS!! :) I have the khaki coloured one, but I'm just not too sure about it. I think perhaps it's just too sparkly or something. How do you apply it? With a brush, or your fingers? Xx

  5. How inspiring! I'm a mom myself (of 10m+ twins) & always amazed at how you always manage to look so fresh & radiant, with a little baby to take care of & lack of sleep. Looking fwd to your Maybelline Age Rewind Concealer review!!! :)
