September favourites

I don't really do monthly favourites that often. Mainly because the end of the month always creeps up on me so by the time I remember to do a monthly favourite post it's already well into the following month. But here I am, with a September favourites post of stuff I've been loving lately.

EYES
Absolutely obsessed with my Anastasia Beverly Hills Amrezy Palette. The colours are very me - a good mix of mattes and shimmers, neutrals and colours. It's all I've been using ever since I bought it a couple of months ago. And that little pot with the pan showing through already? That's my Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Dark Brown - THE. BEST. BROW. PRODUCT. EVER. I've also been loving this Revlon Customeyes Mascara but I have a feeling it's now discontinued as I can only find them at discount chemists. It's meant to have 2 settings for bold or natural effect, but to be quite honest I've got mine on bold the whole time so I don't know how the natural one looks.

FACE
I've rediscovered my Illamasqua Sculpting Duo and as you can see I've hit pan on the contour shade already. It's a perfect colour to contour your face with if you're fair (NC25 and lighter), though the highlight shade is a bit too glittery for me. The L'Oreal Nude Magique Blur Cream was a surprise favourite - I'm not generally into primers but this one really does smooth out my face and make my foundation last. I've been LOVING the Maybelline SuperStay Better Skin Foundation too. I'm not sure about giving me better skin, but it definitely helps me fake better skin! As for this Illamasqua blush in Naked Rose, I'd say it's not just a September favourite but an all time favourite. It's a very easy to wear colour that looks great with whatever eye/lip colour I choose that day.

LIPS
Are you seeing a trend here? Yep, I'm having a purple/pink month. The Savvy Ultra Matte Lip Colours are the cheaper alternatives to the Lime Crime Velveteens. They're around $7 and once they dry on your lips they won't budge! My favourite is the colour Icon. I'm really enjoying using the Dose of Colors lipstick in Love Potion. Sometimes it looks almost neon on my lips, but I love it. And the lippy on the bottom is a cheapie I picked up from Armenia last year, I think it was $2. It's Golden Rose in the colour #63.

And there you have it, my favourite products for September. What have you been loving this month?
