Sigma Warm Neutrals Eyeshadow Palette - Review & Photos

A girl can never have too many neutral eyeshadow palettes. And maybe shoes. I've lost track of how many neutral palettes I own now, and I've just added a new one* to the collection. It is the Sigma Warm Neutrals Palette which is available through an Australian retailer Redefining Beauty.

I had tried and reviewed Sigma brushes in the past, and there's no denying they're pretty awesome, but this is the first time I'm trying anything from the makeup range. The Warm Neutrals Palette contains a mix of 12 matte and shimmery eyeshadows in beautiful warm shades. It comes in cardboard packaging with magnetic closure, and a large mirror under the lid.
Please note that the names of the shades aren't actually printed on the palette, I've just typed it up here for ease of reference.

Let's look at some swatches shall we?

Top row:
L/R: Oyster Sand, Sugar Milk, Mild Mannered, Dove

Middle row:
L/R: Fawn, Cinnamon, Russet, Balanced
Bottom row:
L/R: Cozy, Innocent, Optimistic, Warm Stone

Overall I think I'll get a lot of use out of this palette, especially shades like Dove, Fawn and Cozy. Even though I have a tonne of neutral palettes already, the shades are actually quite different to the ones I already have. The only gripe I have with it, and most normal people won't mind, is I wish the names of the shades were printed on the front of the packaging so that if I needed to refer to them in a blog post or something then I could get the name quickly. But as I said, that's not a biggie and is probably more a beauty blogger problem! LOL.

I think my Aussie readers will be especially happy to know they can get Sigma makeup and brushes from an Australian retailer, and get this, the prices are comparable to what you'd expect to pay from the actual Sigma store. You know how a lot of the time  we get charged up to 3 times more for products here than in the US & UK? Well, not the case at Redefining Beauty. Most Sigma products are only slightly higher here than through the US store, and when you factor in the cost of international shipping there's really no comparison. Like this palette, it's AUD $43 through Redefining Beauty, and US $39 through actual Sigma store which if you factor in conversion rate it probably works out the same.

What do you think of this palette? Have you tried any makeup from the Sigma range?

  1. I haven't tried anything from Sigma, but I really want to! This palette looks gorgeous, and a bit different from the usual neutral palette out there.

    1. The brushes are really really good, definitely same quality as the high end brushes minus the price tag. :-)

  2. I have this palette and it's lovely!
I also have the Naked 2 as well, and whilst they are both neutral palettes the shades are all different!
    They work great together too!

    1. Hehe, I can be a bit of an enabler I guess :-)
If you haven't bought the brushes yet, you should get them from this Redefining Beauty website as it's pretty much same prices as overseas and they have free shipping to OZ over $50 (I'm assuming you'll still be in the country?).
      xx
