Some goodies from Illamasqua's Christmas 2013 collection

Can you believe Christmas is just weeks away? Yep, me neither! One of the many many good things about the Christmas is seeing the brands' holiday collections. Today I have 3 things to show you from Illamasqua's Christmas collection. Long time readers will know how much I love the brand, and the fact that they brought down their prices in Australia to make them comparable to the rest of the word just cemented my love for them. Their products never disappoint, and these 3 are no exception.

Sculpting Duo in Lumos & Heliopolis - $39AUD
Remember when I did THIS post on my favourite contour products a few days ago? Well, if I'd had this compact in my posession then, this would have been included in my post for sure. The darker shade is absolutely perfect for contouring. It has no shimmer whatsoever, and the colour looks very natural with not a hint of orange. The lighter shade has a slight shimmer, enough to give a natural glow when used as a highlighter. I will be doing a contouring tutorial in the next few days using this duo just to show how easy this is to use. If you want to get into contouring and highlighting, this is THE product to get you started.

Intense lipgloss in Maiden - $22AUD
I'll be honest, I'm not a big fan of glosses so I'll probably only wear this layered over a nude lippy, but for all you gloss lovers this warm pale peach will look great with a smokey eye. It's pigmented enough, and quite thick, to be worn on its own, but being a gloss you're not going to get the longevity of a lipstick.

Nail varnish in Blizzard - $22AUD
The shimmering white speckles of this top coat is enough to make me want to be out in the snow. Tough call, considering the last time I saw snow I was 12 years old and living in the Northern Hemmisphere. No chance of snow here in Sydney. However 2 layers of this over any nail polish and it can be snowing on my nails, yes, even in Sydney.

In Australia you can get Illamasqua from selected Myer stores or via their UK website which has international delivery.

What do you think of these goodies from Illamasqua? What's your favourite Illamasqua product?

  1. The Sculpting Duo looks beautiful! I love the super matte finish and the highlighter is just gorgeous and the nail polish definitely reminds me of snow flakes too!

  2. Oh the sculpting duo looks really nice! Definitely my type of product, I do light sculpting daily & these shades seem to be spot on for the daily kind of sculpting. Not too heavy, but just right!
