Quick wintery FOTD with mauve lips

With winter well and truly here in Australia when it comes to lipsticks I'm gravitating more towards plummy and mauvey shades. My usual pinks and peaches just don't look right when it's cold and gloomy outside. One of my favourite lipsticks that is perfect for the season is Australis Long Wear lipstick in Uber Cool (see my swatches of the complete Long Wear collection HERE).
Wearing Australis lipstick in Uber Cool

Here is the full makeup breakdown.
- Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation in Nude
- L'Oreal BB Powder in Medium*
- Barry M Blush in Rose
- Inglot eyeshadows in #29, #402, #459 and #63 (worn as liner)
- L'Oreal Lash Architect Mascara in Black*

What are some of your favourite lipstick colours at the moment?

    1. Yep, us in the southern hemisphere are going through winter here. But luckily it never gets as cold as it can get up north so we really shouldn't be complaining! xx

  7. That is one gorgeous lipstick on you! I wouldn't normally buy a shade like that, but it suits you so well! The blush looks amazing on you too :) I'm always a bit of a neutral-ish person, so I'm still very much into the Chubby Stick in Heaping Hazelnut. A bit boring, I know ;-)

    1. Thanks Isabelle, I used to be very much into neutrals too but I'd say ever since I started blogging I've started experimenting more with makeup!

  8. This lippy is just gorgeous and suits you so well! I have it in my collection also and I'm gutted that when I wear it here it may look a bit out of place! Xx

    1. I agree it won't look right in the sunshine there, but perhaps if you go out in the evening you can wear it? Or save it for your trips back home! xx

  9. Wow Lilit, that shade looks gorgeous on you! Because it is sooo gloomy and yucky outside I tend to gravitate towards a beautiful smoky eye in shades of purple or bronze with a neutral and moisturising lip. Otherwise I will do a bright lip shade such as red (Tom Ford in Cherry Lush is divine or Napoleon Perdis Aphrodite) or a nice pink.

  10. I splashed out on all of the Australis Go Longs because of their gorgeous texture. (I'm equally enamored of the Kate Moss/Rimmel colours for the same reason.)I *love* Uber Cool, but Glam and Ghetto are stunning winter shades too.
