Remember for a while
I couldn't wear bright lipsticks? Well I'm getting back into them again, but my preference is for matte lipsticks as they last longer and don't smear as easily. Enter Illamasqua lipstick in
Immodest*, which is from their
I'mPerfection collection. Immodest would have to be the mattest (is that even a word?) lipstick I own, even in comparison to all my other matte Illamasqua lip colours. This is one of those lipsticks that you must, absolutely must, wear a lip balm first before applying. It's not forgiving on dry lips, not unless you like the flaky look. And in return for your troubles you get an absolutely gorgeous colour that lasts and lasts.
Immodest is a vivid pink shade that's highly pigmented. It's quite a wearable shade, and it looks different on many people depending on their natural lip colouring. On me it's a muted cool pink, on
Essie it's almost a raspberry shade and on
Angie it's a bright bubblegum pink.

THIS IS MY FAVOURITE TOO!! I have been wearing them to parties, concerts, festivals cos the colour stands out and the matte formula means its long lasting.

DeleteI love this color!! I love illamasqua lipsticks and products!! I have Climax which is a very neutral color for myself and their red lipstick is great in pictures!!! Encounter and Box are just great pigmented red lipstick in different shades!!! Even the lip pencils are awesome too!!! You look so gorgeous in Immodest!! makes me want to check it out!!! thanks for sharing!!!

I tried Climax but it didn't suit me :( Pity as I thought it was a gorgeous neutral shade. oh and i have my eye on Box, next Illamasqua purchase has to be Box for sure!

DeleteAnd yes, my hair has grown so much but that's because I haven't cut it in about 6 months! The ends are so unhealthy, but I'm loving the length so I'm not in a hurry to cut it yet :)

Being a fellow lover of matte lipsticks too, I'm definitely going to try this shade as who doesn't want to add another pink lippy into their collection?
