A pop of green

A really easy way of wearing colour on your eyes is by lining your lower lashline with your colour of choice. In honour of St Patrick's day tomorrow, I decided to add a pop of green to my neutral eye makeup. The effect is very subtle, but it's still enough to lift an otherwise fairly boring eye makeup. I kept the rest of the face fairly neutral, with soft pink lips and cheeks to balance out the pop of colour.

Aagh look at the bags under my eyes! It's because my 8mth old little boy has started waking up several times at night again! Oh when will he sleep through the night? I need my beauty sleep!

Face
Girlee Cosmetics cream foundation in Medium
CG + Olay face powder in Light/Medium
Illamasqua blush in Naked Rose

Eyes
UD Naked palette - Sidecar (lid), Buck (crease), Smog (outer corner), Darkhorse (liner), Sin (highlight)
MAC Newly Minted e/s - lower lashline
Jordana color extend eyeliner in black
CG Lashblast Fusion mascara in blackest black

Lips
YSL Rouge Volupte in #19 Frivolous Pink

Nails
Sally Hansen nail polish in Jaded

What's your favourite green eyeshadow? I'm in the hunt for a nice bright emerald green shade so if you have any recommendations hit me with it!
