New favourite lippy and FOTD

Everyone knows I love bright lipsticks, but with a little 4 month old boy that loves being carried in my arms super bright lipsticks are just no longer an option. Not unless I want to have red smudges all over his face! So lately I've been going for colours that are a little bit more subdued but ones that still stand out. Enter my current favourite lipstick, #16 by Rimmel Kate.

I'm a huge fan of the Rimmel Kate lipsticks and this one is no exception. It's very creamy, long lasting, and above all wallet friendly. This particular colour is a muted bubblegum pink that instantly brightens up my light/medium complexion and doesn't make me look too OTT done up. The colour reminds me of a more subdued and wearable version of Viva Glam Nicki.

Here's how I like to wear it, with soft golden brown smokey eyes and neutral pink cheeks.

  1. You look so stunning! I only have 2 of the Kate Moss lipsticks but whenever I use them I always wish I had picked up more because they're very nice.

    1. I've actually never seen this colour at Priceline. I bought mine from BigW which somehow always seem to have better stock of Rimmel than my local Priceline. Good luck finding it! xo

  11. The whole makeup looks beautiful. Your look reminds me of the glamourous early 70's Bewitched style makeup looks i used to envy.

  13. I bought this months ago as an alternative to my typical red lip retro thing I usually do but I just can't seem to make it work for me. I feel like it looks really cheap on me - maybe it's my super pasty complexion haha. It looks so lovely on you, I'm determined to make it work for me!! I think I'll dig out some liners to layer it up and see how it goes.
