Repurchased

As a beauty blogger I'm always trying new make up products and with so many new things released all the time I get swayed with the newbies and rarely repurchase my old ones when they run out...

But there are a few products that I repurchase without even thinking about it. And here they are (all links are to previous posts):
Clockwise from top left: MAC MSFN, Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse, Rimmel Lipstick in Pink Blush, Ausralis Voluptulash Mascara, Rimmel Eyebrow Pencil in Black/Brown

MAC Mineralize Skinfinish Natural: This is great at setting my foundation as it never gives a flat powdery look, yet it have enough pigmentation to provide extra coverage where needed.

Maybelline Dream Liquid Mousse foundation: For a long time this was my HG foundation, and I still use it quite a lot. Just lately with my skin feeling dryer than normal I've switched to the creamier MAC Studio Sculpt but come warmer weather I'll switch back to this.

Rimmel Pink Blush lipstick: This is one of my fave-don't-need-to-think-about-it lippies. When it ran out, I didn't even have to think twice about repurchasing it.

Australis Voluptulash  mascara in Blackest Black: I received one as a PR sample a while back and loved it so much that when it ran out I replaced it straight away. It has a comb-like wand which is good at separating lashes and giving length. If I need added volume I usually layer it with a volumizing mascara like CG Lashblast.

Rimmel Eyebrow pencil in Black/Brown: I normally fill in my brows with this pencil then go over it with a medium/dark brown eyeshadow to make it look natural. I find it's easier filling in the bald patches with this pencil, as it's not too creamy and doesn't run, than it is with a brow powder.

Honourable mentions
These are products that I haven't yet repurchased because they haven't yet ran out, but rest assured as soon as they run out I'll be buying them again.
Clockwise from bottom left: Illamasqua blushes in Tremble & Lover, Benefit Hoola Bronzer, Too Faced Naked Eye and Natural Eye Palettes, MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation, MAC lipstick in Impassioned

Illamasqua blushes in Lover and Tremble: My love for Illamasqua blushes is no secret, and these two colours are just perfect. Lover is an apricot peach, so it's great with a tan. Tremble is peachy pink, so it looks good in colder months with paler skintones.

Benefit Hoola bronzer: I've hit pan on my Hoola already, so I reckon a few more months and I'll need to buy a new one. I use it pretty much every day to contour my face and give me the cheekbones I was not born with.

Too Faced Naked Eye and Natural Eye palettes: One has cool tones, the other one warm tones. Both are perfect. I love that the size of the palettes makes it handy for travel, and except for a few dodgy shades most are well pigmented and long lasting.

MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation: I bought this when my skin went really really dry. The creamy gel-like formula hides flakiness and provides medium to full coverage. During warmer weather this would feel a bit too heavy, which is when I'll switch back to the Maybelline Dream Liquid foundation.

MAC Impassioned Lipstick: This is my all time favourite lipstick ever. I've blogged about it many times before. It's one of those lippies that instantly brightens up the look and makes me look more put together than I am. I'm surprised I haven't bought back-ups already!

Are there any makeup products that you repurchase or are you happy to discard the old and try the new kids on the block?

    1. it's one of my fave lippies! lasts about 4 hours before needing to reapply which isn't too bad for a cheapie lippy.

    1. Rimmel is a great drugstore brand! I love their mascaras as well and loved the feel of the perfect match foundation when I tried it but I couldn't find a colour match for me :(. They were all too pink toned for me.

  15. Bobbi Brown's Natural-Finish Long Lasting Foundation and Creamy Concealer Kit are 2 items that I always repurchase. Other than that, I've never repurchased any other makeup item before in my life. I tend to not finish things because I am always distracted by newer products that I love--but I've tried a few items lately that I am thinking might be my first ever repurchase!!! (Edward Bess Quad Royale in Monte Carlo and Burberry's Sheer Summer Glow, since it's LE)
