Makeup used
A while back I was sent some PR samples from SHE Australia so I decided to use them for this weekend look as I can also give my thoughts on what I think about them.
FACE
- SHE Pure Magic Primer - I absolutely loved the feel of this on my skin, it left it feeling velvety smooth and matte to touch. And the lovely aromatherapy smell was a bonus.
- Illamasqua Skinbase foundation in #8 - reviewed previously HERE
- SHE Pure Minerals Powder foundation in Golden Medium - I used this as a blotting powder over the liquid foundation, as the colour was slightly too dark for me to use on its own. This felt very silky smooth to touch and evened out my complexion, but it did feel too matte for my dry skin. This would work better on oilier skins, or perhaps without using the matte primer first.
- Illamasqua Tremble Blush - reviewed previously HERE.
EYES
- Too Faced Naked Eye Palette (Like a Virgin and In the Buff e/s) - reviewed previously HERE
- SHE Gel Eyeliner - reviewed previously HERE
- Australis Voluptulash Mascara in Blackest Black
- Rimmel eyebrow pencil in Black/Brown
LIPS
- SHE Lip Pencil in Nude Beige - this is such a perfect nude shade, definitely repurchase material for me.
- SHE Luxury Gloss in Champagne Gold - this has a sight orange and cinnamon aroma but it's not too overpowering. It's not very pigmented at all so it's best to wear this gloss over lipstick for lovely shine minus the stickiness.
SHE cosmetics are sold at selected Priceline stores and most products are less than $20 so definitely worth checking out if you haven't already.
On nails - Sally Hansen I Pink I Can (reviewed HERE). Chain and Ribbon Necklace DIY (tutorial HERE). |
Do you tend to keep your makeup simple on weekends?
*SHE products were PR samples as per my disclosure statement
You're absolutely beautiful in these pics. I mean, you always are, but you're particularly stunning here.
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I keep my make up really simple in the weekend.
Aaw thank you so much! Means a lot, especially since this is my "can't be bothered making much effort" face. xo

Lilit, your skin is amazing... I am so envious its beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks Desiree, it's just getting normalized again after going through a massive dry spell.
DeleteYou always look so pretty! But with natural makeup your sweetness and good heart really shine through.
ReplyDeleteIf i'm not leaving the house and not doing some sort of makeup-photo requiring post? I don't wear makeup at all. I'm still getting used to it ; w ; and it's only been a year of ACTUAL SERIOUS makeup wearing so...maybe i'll grow into it?
Aren't you sweet? What a lovely thing to say!
DeleteWell from what I can see this last year you've totally gotten into makeup so you've well and truly made up for your non makeup days. If I don't wear makeup at all I'll feel like I haven't woken up properly, hence I NEED something in order to feel awake.
Overall look is stunning on you, well done Lilit...! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look so elegant and flawless <3 I've never bothered to stop and look at SHE products, might have to now!
