The Too Faced eye palettes come in 9 complementary matte and shimmer shades which are great for creating a variety of looks. They come with instruction cards to help you create some looks, but of course you can just ignore them and do your own thing.
Too Faced Naked Eye Palette |
The Naked Eye palette is a cooler toned palette with taupes, pinks and greys. And the matte black is a wonderful addition in my opinion as I use black eyeshadows to go over my eyeliner to make it last, plus they're good at darkening the crease.
Too Faced Naked Eye Palette |
The Naked Eye Palette contains the following colours:
- In The Buff (matte ivory)
- Pillow Talk (light taupe sheen)
- Like A Virgin (matte taupe)
- Birthday Suit (beige shimmer)
- Satin Sheets (golden champagne shimmer)
- Unmentionables (steel gray shimmer)
- Pink Cheeks (pale pink)
- Lap Dance (silvery taupe shimmer)
- Stiletto (matte black)

With my Natural Eye and Romantic Eye palettes the pigmentation of some of the colours has been a bit of a hit and miss. But I found that except for the matte black, all the colours in Naked Eye are nicely pigmented, with absolutely no fall out (I'm looking at you Natural Eye with your fall-out-y bottom row colours).
And you know what, if I was being honest I would admit that I much prefer the Too Faced palettes to my UD Naked Palettes... actually I will be honest and say it, I DO prefer them to the UD Naked Palettes.
Have you tried any of the Too Faced eyeshadow palettes?
Ooh the "Classic" color combination looks beautiful! I love the sheen of the Satin Sheets shade!

They are my favourite colours too, and Lap Dance from the "Fashion" row is stunning on it's own worn all along the lid.
Deletethis palette looks so great!

Oh wow, it's such a close dupe. I'm not too fond of Too Faced Products but I'll definitely check them out at myer.
ReplyDeleteI really like the look of this one, but I read some reviews that the pigmentation wasn't as good as other palettes. I'm tossing up between Naked and Romantic, not sure which I should get (or maybe some other one altogether). Thoughts? :)
ReplyDeleteI actually found the pigmentation of this better than my other Too Faced palettes. The matte shades in Natural and Romantic Eye were really chalky, whereas this one has better mattes. Oh and my favourite of the lot is still Romantic Eye as you have the cooler purples in it, as well as a warm gold and a brown so it's good if you want to have both cool and warm shades in the one palette.
DeleteHmmm, decisions decisions! :) Thanks for the reply. I'm going to see how long I can withhold the urge to order a Too Faced palette off Beautybay, especially since I have both Naked palettes and told myself no more eyeshadows for a loonnnggg while after that :p
DeleteLove the look of this palette. I have the Too Faced Matte Shadow Palette and I was really impressed with it. Great quality shadows.
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous! Thanks for the swatches - I love the 'Classic Look' combo. xx
ReplyDeleteNice palette. I think this really might be as good as UD Naked palette.
ReplyDeleteSuch a nice palette!! I´m tempted but... do I need more neutrals? :)
ReplyDeletexx
I definitely didn't need more neutrals! :-) But just couldn't resist.
Deletehmm I didnt like my palette at all. The taupe colors were unpigmented :/ maybe I got an old one?
ReplyDeleteOh no, mine were all pigmented except for the black which I don't mind.
DeleteI don't have any Too Faced products yet, but I'm in love with this palette! *-* Four colors got my attention: Pillow Talk, Like a Virgin, Birthday Suit and Satin Sheets.
ReplyDeleteAt the moment I prefer small palettes than big ones. It's easier to carry everywhere ^^
=*****
Same here, I prefer the smaller palettes which is probably why I haven't been giving much love to my UD Nakeds.
DeleteThis is a favorite of mine. Like you, I prefer this over my ud naked palette. There, I've said it :)
ReplyDeleteNow doesn't that feel better admitting the truth! LOL.
DeleteI have this palette, I should really start using it again. I forgot how pretty it is xxx
ReplyDeleteIm enjoying using neutral pallettes at the moment. The weather in London has been so dismal I cant face wearing bright shades!
ReplyDeleteI'd love to see you do a look with these, either the combinations they suggest or otherwise.
ReplyDeleteI've never tried any Too Faced eyeshadows but all their palettes look so nice! I own both Naked palettes so I don't need any more neutrals but perhaps one day!
I will definitely do a look with it one day. And I don't even want to think how many neutral palettes and colours I own, but I still get tempted!
DeleteI've seen you do many FOTD's with these palettes. I think that speaks for itself as to how much you love them Lilit! I'll have to go and do a swatchety-swatch instore!!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been able to pick between this and the natural eye palette. I know i want the 2nd generation smokey palette. Of the two this is my favorite - it just seems the most wearable and unlike shades I already have. I like the TF palettes but the one I have at least, DEMANDS the TFSI otherwise the color don't show up on me.
ReplyDeleteI'm saving up for the value set that has this palette, some brushes, primer, etc. It's around 60 dollars at Sephora.
