NOTD - Essie Absolutely Shore

I'm sure you've figured out by now I love mint coloured nail polishes. This is my latest love - Absolutely Shore by Essie.
I'm wearing 3 coats of Essie Absolutely Shore topped with my China Glaze Anti Chip Top Coat.

It's much lighter than my usual mint polishes, and is not as in your face. It's a paler, almost greyer version of Mint Candy Apple. And because it's not as obvious, it's great for people just getting into green polishes.
See, a very wearable mint colour!
I bought it on sale from Myer last weekend, which was $9 and then another 25% off on top of that, so if you love this colour and absolutely must have it then head to Myer stat!

Do you love mint nail polishes?

  1. That is beautiful, and I cannot believe how cheaply you got it - the Essie polishes I have seen are $20! Thankyou for the post!

    1. This one was in a bargain bin, hence so cheap. But all the other Essies at Myer were $18.95 less 25%.

  5. Yes, I love mint! I was trying to decide what color to paint my nails...and I think you helped me make up my mind. Good thing I have that exact color in the cabinet! Oh, and Essie is also available at Target for only $8. :)

You can get it here: http://www.target.com/s/essie

Myer is a better deal with the 25% off, though. :)

    2. Yep, unfortunately our Target here in Australia doesn't sell them... only salons and higher end dept stores sell them and for around $20.

  8. WHAT?! Essies are reduced at Myer? :O Like the whole range or just stuff they're getting rid of?

    1. They whole range was 25% but this particular shade and a few others were down to $9 then 25% off on top of that.

  9. I just got this polish recently, and I love the end result, but did you notice the application was suuuper streaky, or did I just get a defective polish?

    1. Mine wasn't too streaky, but usually I only need 2 coats for a good opaque coverage whereas with this one I needed 3 coats.

  10. Subtle and interesting at the same time so that makes it work-appropriate and still fun. I love it too Lilit!

  11. Woah, that's a great price! I saw this for $9, but not the further 25% off. Kind of wishing that I'd gotten this now, because a problem I've had with pastel polishes is they always end up applying darker than the colour in the bottle. This one doesn't seem to have that problem though.

  13. I love this! I have Revlon Mint and I feel it can look a bit much on my nails. But Absolutely Shore looks so soft and delicate! Thank you for sharing :) I will be picking it up for sure :)
