November beauty favourites

Well it's now less than 3 weeks till Christmas, and I haven't done any Christmas shopping yet. Eeeep. Too busy playing with these favourites instead.

MooGoo Full Cream moisturiser
MooGoo is an Australian company and they make all natural skincare solutions. I'm such a huge fan of this moisturiser, which smells of milk and honey... yummm. I bought this from a healthcare shop and I think it costs around $20 which is totally worth it. I use it every morning. It's soaks into my skin beautifully without leaving an oily residue.

Revlon New Complexion Oil Control Foundation
I was given this by Revlon PR a few weeks ago (full review HERE), and have been using it non stop almost every day. It gives medium coverage that lasts a whole work day for me. The only problem is that the colour (sand beige) is too light for me now and the next shades up are the wrong undertone (too pink) so I'm in the market for a new foundation now.

ELF All Over Coverstick
This is fantastic to use as an under eye concealer. It's a re-purchase for me, and at less than $4 I'll definitely keep buying it. My original review is HERE (which is from almost a year ago!)

Too Faced Romantic Eye Palette
This is a perfect palette for quick makeup looks and for traveling with, as it has a good mix of cool and warm toned shades. My favourite shades are Cut The Cake and Honeymoon.

YSL Rouge Volupte Lipsticks in #19 Frivolous Pink & #8 Fetish Pink
I've been getting really dry lips lately which has made wearing lipstick somewhat difficult. However these two lipsticks are super moisturising and are the only ones I've been able to wear comfortably. It's a bonus that I love the colours. Full review and swatches are HERE.

Dior Amber Diamond Shimmer Powder
I bought this over a month ago and have been wearing it very frequently. It's great worn over a matte blush to give it some dimension, or even on its own for a natural glow to the cheekbone. Full review and swathes are HERE.

Milani Luminoso Blush
I got told by so many blogger friends to get this blush that I finally caved in and got it... and I love it. This is a shimmery peach blush that is perfect for a glowy look. No highlighter is needed with this particular shade as it has just the right amount of shimmer to make you look like you have naturally luminous cheeks.

What have been some of your favourites lately? And more importantly, have you done your Christmas shopping yet?

  1. Hi Lilit! I'd buy Moo Goo just for the cute name! To answer your questions: I'm about half-way through my Xmas shopping (thank goodness!) and lately - this week anyway - I've been loving deep plummy red lipstick, which is kind of weird for me cos I usually wear sheerer shades in summer!

  2. Christmas shopping? Ha! (Answer: oh my god, no I haven't, and I am starting to freak out. When did it get so late in the year?!)

<3 your Nov favourites - they all look so tempting! The Too Faced palette in particular; what soft, pretty shades :o)

  3. These are some gorgeous favourites. I really like the sound of MooGoo!
My christmas shopping is almost finished, but the toddler's list seems to keep growing as soon as I think I'm done! xx

  4. Vita - I love the Moo Goo name too! Their packaging and website are so funny, with quotes like "the only animals we test on are our friends". Love it. Weird how you're into plummy shades now in summer, but then again if Melb is anything like Syd at the moment you're probably not having much of a summer either.

Rae - There are still 2 weekends till christmas, plenty of time to shop, lol. Oh and Too Faced is just gorgeous, what with your obsession with lilac/purple I can totally see you rock the middle shades.

Georgia - Oh lucky you, almost finished the shopping. As for the little one, there's still time to shop away!

  9. Lately I've been obsessed with those Rouge Volupte lipsticks, I need to have one asap! Also, I mostly use my Amber Diamond on its own and think it looks fab, no need to wear a blush! xx

I have that e/s palette too and I love it!!
I keep on forgetting to go and check if we have that foundation...although I don't have oily skin (so not sure why I want to try it!).

  14. I have been loving Mac Tenderling blush lately along with lady gaga2 lipstick and a smoky eye. I have been using the Maybelline eyestudio in caffeine rush, the textures of these shadows remind me of my mac shadows. I have also been addicted to mac Fix+ and Alba un-petroleum jelly that I put on my face after my moisturizer before I go to bed!

  19. MooGoo reminds me of this thing I found online (but can't find in stores) called Udder Cream. I wonder if it's equally awesome. Your ELF products are 4? D: Whaaat? This is 1 for us! I bought that before I started beauty blogging but I didn't know how to use it so I think it's time for a second chance. I will forever envy your YSL RVL ; _ ;

Amber Diamond is coming home with me this January (waiting on the next calender year) and I already have Luminoso! I can't wait to try it out and review it (i'm seriously behind due to Finals week.)

  20. Eden - yep, ELF really are $4 here. Everything is ridiculously expensive here, everything! Hope you like Amber Diamond when it arrives!

  21. I recommend you try the Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum Gel foundation, I bought it after reviewers were raving about it ! It is fantastic.
I was going through the exact same problem as you really haha, sand beige was getting too light and nude had pink undertones. The Bourjois foundations mostly have yellow undertones. Give it a go!

  22. Thanks for the recommendation Jenny, I haven't seen this one with the Serum at the shops yet but it is definitely on my wish list.
