Hello peach blush by Arcancil!
This blush is from a French brand Arcancil, in colour Mlle Friponne. I bought it last year when we were traveling in Europe, and never really wore it. I don't know why really, I mean look at how gorgeous it is!
At first I found it incredibly bright, but after a couple of hours the shock of having bright peach lids wore off and I really really liked it. Even my husband noticed that my eye makeup was different and commented on how nice it looked. Huh, who knew men noticed such things.
Also, because I have hooded lids when my eyes are open you can't see the colour that much, it's only when I look down that the brightness is obvious.
How I wore it
Eyeshadow primer - Australis
Lid - Arcancils peach blush in Mlle Friponne
Crease - Too Faced Erotica from Natural Eye Palette
Highlight - UD Virgin
Liner - Maybelline Gel Liner in Blackest Black
Mascara - L'Oreal 4D Lash Architect in Black
Rest of the face
Illamasqua SkinBase foundation - #8
MAC MSF Powder - Light Medium
Arcancil Blush - Mlle Friponne
Inglot lipstick - #104
Nails - Barry M Pink Flamingo

Absoltuely gorgeous Lilit! I'm actually really surprised at how stunning it looks! Totally trying this sometime soon!
ReplyDeleteOh, I LOVE this! I've worn blush as eyeshadow once or twice, but I usually shy away from it. Sensitive eyes! :P

ReplyDeleteRae - Thanks! I did worry about whether it's suitable to be worn on lids, but so far so good.
Jen - My favourite earrings, courtesy of Diva 2009. LOL
Grace - he he, yeah I was a bit matchy matchy, but with the warmer weather here only brights would satisfy me!

That looks gorgeous! I want that blush it's such a nice colour. It's always fun to mix things up every now and then!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blush Lilit! I've heard of blush being used as shadow but I've never tried it myself. The farthest I've gone is wearing a highlighter on my eyes but that's not really adventurous - I think I should get out of my comfort zone because it really does look gorgeous on you!
ReplyDeleteTHIS.IS.BEAUTIFUL. *wheezes* I am totally going to steal it! I've tried wearing blushes as eyeshadows recently, and just used MAC Dollymix in my crease on Saturday! :)
ReplyDeleteWow Lilit I love what you did!
ReplyDeleteYour cheeks always look gorgeous x
hey u r lookng cute with peach
ReplyDeletelove the look, such pretty colours!!
ReplyDeleteSuch a pretty colour! I can't believe I have never thought about doing this before! x
ReplyDeleteoh wow i love that color. it looks so pigmented!
ReplyDeleteThe blush as eyeshadow thing doesn't typically work for me: I find that a lot of blushes blend to become too sheer for use as eyeshadow.
ReplyDeleteI love how your earrings match, adorable!
ReplyDeletewow the blush-shadow looks absolutely gorgeous ... :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for all your comments ladies, you should definitely try this if you're after a bright eyed look.
ReplyDeleteVijiiS - I used an eyeshadow primer to make the colour stick on the lid better and look more pigmented, otherwise it was too sheer on the lid.
