New Flormar goodies and discount code for Sydney readers

If you’ve been reading my blog for any length of time you will notice I don’t generally do any major hauling… ok fine, I do purchase makeup and beauty items a lot more than I really need to, but usually it’s a blusher here, a lipstick there.

But ever since I first stumbled upon the makeup brand Flormar a couple of weeks ago (click HERE for original post), I’ve been itching to go back for more. Finally this week I got the chance to go after work, and this time I thought I’d brave the nailpolish stands (You may remember from my last post that I was far too overwhelmed at the choice of colours available so I just ignored the polishes all together).

I got 3 nailpolishes which cost $5.99 each. Total bargain!
L/R: Selection #10; Supershine #04; Supermatte #M111
I am yet to try the nailpolishes, so if there is a particular one you'd like swatched first let me know.

I then moved on to the lipstick stand… (I know that you know that I'm lipstick obsessed... so of course I moved on to the lipstick stand!)

L/R: Matte #35; Supershine #503
Aylin, the gorgeous sales assistant was wearing a lovely pink (# 503 from the Supershine range) which I just had to have. And this purply shade also caught my eye (#35 from the Matte range), so that too got added to the basket. The lipsticks are $9.99 each which is amazing value for the quality you get. The colours remind me of Chatterbox and Up The Amp by MAC. I own both of these colours, so I will do a comparison for you later.

I also picked up a Volume Sculpting Mascara in black, which I forgot how much it cost as I threw away my receipt, but I think it was around the $10-12 mark. I will post a review/look using this mascara later to show you the volumising effect.

And last but not least, I moved to the baked powder section because the 3 that I got last time were just amazing and I got compliments every time I wore them.

Baked terracotta bronzer in #43

I picked up a bronzer/highlighter in #43 ($14.99) which gives an amazing glow to the face (in the swatch below it looks glittery, but on the face it gives more of a sheen).

I will be posting a FOTD in the next few days using some of these products, but if you’d like more information about any of these products first let me know in the comments.

And now to the exciting part… when I visited Flormar, Aylin remembered me from last time! I was chuffed… I’d told them that I had a beauty blog, and they kindly offered… wait for it… 15% discount to my readers until the end of July 2011 at the Westfields Parramatta store. So if you’re in the Sydney region and can get yourself to Parramatta, now is the time to try this brand. Their prices are already so cheap, and 15% off will make it even cheaper. Please note that in my last post I'd mentioned that they had a store at Castle Towers, but turns out that the Castle Towers stall has moved to Parramatta now.

To get the 15% discount, you need to quote the code FMMJO1107 until 31 July 2011 in the Parramatta store.

If you're not from Sydney but would like to check out this brand, there is a list of stockists in other countries listed on their website. In Australia it's only available at Parramatta, although a reader kindly has let me know that there are ebay stockists of the brand, but I haven't tried them so I can't comment on authenticity.

Disclaimer: All products purchased with my own money, I’m not affiliated with this brand or its stockists.

  3. Thanks for the code lovely! Can't wait to get those blushes.

I was wondering, where exactly is the stall? I kinda want to just go straight in and out so it would be good to know what level it's on :)

  5. @Rakhshanda - thanks hun, I'll def be doing some FOTDs son.

@Grace - oh I'm so glad you're liking the BYS blush, it's amazing how good it is for the price, in some places you can't even get a large coffee for that price!

@Gilded nails - you're welcome! The stall is just outside Wittner, on same level as Portmans. I don't know what level it is actually... the one above the street level. Have fun, and can't wait to hear what you get.

@Vita - I hope so too, coz I hate reviewing products and it's only available at a certain store. I want things to be accessible to more people... hmm... maybe they need to organise Online shopping! And I'll do the matte polish next, it's a colour I don't own so I'm looking forward to it.
