Here's a wrap up...
- Geisha - this was the first ever themed FOTD that I've done and I must admit I had a ball doing this one... I was quite surprised that I even had makeup that I could use to make my skin this white for the look. Click HERE to view the post.
- Cleopatra - this was one of my favourites, and the inspiration was Elizabeth Taylor in the movie Cleopatra. I was going to do a straight cut blunt fringe/bangs for this look but my fringe was too long for it (I'm trying to grow it) so I improvised by pulling all my hair back and wearing a headpiece over my hair. To see what makeup I used, and also what I used to make the headpiece click HERE.
- Pin-up - this was another favourite of mine to do, and I actually found this one quite easy. All that was required was a bright lipstick, flicked black eyeliner and a flower in my hair. Click HERE to see the post.
- Fairy or Nymph - this was probably a bit of a boring interpretation, if I'd had more time I would have done a more out there look. But instead I used lots of contouring, green eyeshadow and stuck leaves in my hair. I did brave the cold though and go out into our backyard to take the photos in the bushes. HERE is the post.
- Makeup from another era - for this look I chose a 60s mod look, and ended up quite liking the result. It's one of the more wearable looks, although in reality I would go a bit darker on the lips to make it more modern. Click HERE to see all the products used in the original post.
- Barbie - this is also quite a wearable look as long as you keep the focus on just the eyes or just the lips. HERE is the original post.
I'm not a professional MUA, so to get inspiration for each of the FOTDs I used trusty old Google images to find pictures that I was drawn to that I could then customise and make my own.
